Best timing

Common protocol: 2–2.5 mg twice weekly for 4–6 weeks loading, then 2 mg weekly maintenance.

Contraindications

  • Active malignancy (cell migration enhancement)
  • Pregnancy
  • Bleeding disorders (theoretical platelet effects)
