Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Agonist. Read them. The Medical Disclaimer linked below is part of this agreement and binds you the same way these Terms do.

Acceptance

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Agonist (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using our services at agonist.app, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use Agonist.

Our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer are incorporated into these Terms by reference and have equal force.

Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old to use Agonist. By creating an account, you represent that you are eighteen or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and that your use of Agonist does not violate any law applicable to you.

Agonist is not designed for or directed at minors. We do not knowingly accept registrations from anyone under eighteen.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the security of your account. That means:

  • Keeping your password and any third-party tokens confidential.
  • Enabling the on-device biometric lock if you share your phone with anyone.
  • Notifying us at security@agonist.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • All activity that happens under your account, except where you have promptly reported a security breach.

You may not share your account credentials. Each account is for one person.

Acceptable use

When using Agonist you agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, models, or training data.
  • Use the service to develop a competing product or to scrape our library, citations, or peptide data.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to Agonist without a written agreement.
  • Use Agonist to advise other people clinically. The app is for personal tracking, not for delivering care to anyone else.
  • Upload content you do not have rights to, content that violates law, or content that infringes on a third party.
  • Interfere with the security or stability of the service — rate-limit evasion, DoS attempts, automated abuse.

Subscription & billing

Agonist offers a free tier with a limited feature set and paid tiers — Pro and Coach — billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is listed on the pricing page.

  • Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account settings on the web or via Apple’s subscription management on iOS. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access for the rest of the period you already paid for.
  • Monthly refunds. Monthly plans are non-refundable once the period has begun. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access until the period ends and are not charged again.
  • Annual refunds. Annual plans are refundable within seven days of the initial purchase, on request to billing@agonist.app. After seven days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.
  • iOS purchases. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are governed by Apple’s payment terms. Refund requests for iOS purchases must go through Apple.
  • Price changes. If we change prices, we will tell you at least thirty days before the change applies to your account. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude sales tax, VAT, or GST where applicable. Tax is added at checkout based on your location.

User content

You own your data. Every protocol you build, every dose you log, every journal entry and vial photo you create inside Agonist belongs to you.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process that content for one purpose only: showing it back to you and making the features of Agonist work. The license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we are required to retain backups for a short period for security or legal compliance.

We do not use your protocol data to train AI models. We do not sell or share your content with third parties for marketing.

Medical disclaimer

Agonist is a personal tracking and research tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The contents of the peptide library, dosing ranges, protocols, and any feature output are for informational purposes only. We cite peer-reviewed sources where possible but cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any information to your individual circumstances.

The full Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is binding. By using Agonist you acknowledge that you have read it and that you assume sole responsibility for any decisions you make about your own health, including dosing, scheduling, and stack composition.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agonist and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for:

  • Any harm, injury, illness, or death resulting from decisions you make about dosing, scheduling, route of administration, stacking, sourcing, or storage of any substance you choose to use. Agonist tracks the numbers you give it. It does not prescribe.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
  • The acts or omissions of any third party, including sources from which you obtain any substance.
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or security incidents beyond our reasonable control.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of Agonist is capped at the greater of one hundred US dollars or the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. Where this applies, the limitations above apply only to the maximum extent permitted by your local law.

Termination

You can terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account from inside the app or by writing to support@agonist.app. Deletion is permanent and completes within thirty days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your use creates risk for other users or for us, or if we are required to by law. Where the situation allows for it, we will give you notice and a chance to remedy first.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — User content license to existing exports, limitation of liability, governing law — survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Agonist will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Nothing in this section limits any right you may have to bring a claim in your local courts where required by mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We will update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will notify you by email and through the app at least thirty days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Agonist after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the new Terms, you can cancel and we will refund any unused prepaid time on an annual plan.
