Synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protective protein. Upregulates VEGF and growth hormone receptor expression, promotes angiogenesis at injury sites, and accelerates tendon, ligament, and gut mucosa repair in rodent models.

Best timing

Split twice daily, morning and evening. Subq injection ideally proximal to the injury site.

Contraindications

  • Active cancer (theoretical angiogenic concern)
  • Pregnancy (no human safety data)
  • Known hypersensitivity to the peptide

Watch symptoms

  • Injection site irritation
  • Mild dizziness or fatigue early in protocol
  • GI changes if dosed orally
  • No serious adverse events reported in human trials to date
