Heptapeptide analog of ACTH(4-10) lacking corticotropic activity. Increases BDNF and NGF expression in hippocampus, modulates dopamine and serotonin turnover, and has been used in Russian stroke protocols.

Best timing

Intranasal, 1–3x daily. Avoid late evening — can be activating and disrupt sleep.

Contraindications

  • Pregnancy
  • Severe anxiety disorder (can be activating)
  • Acute psychiatric crisis

  • Overstimulation, restlessness
  • Insomnia if dosed late

  • Headache
