Best timing

Subq or IV. Slow administration essential — fast infusion causes intense chest pressure and nausea. Daily or 3x weekly protocols common.

Contraindications

  • Pregnancy
  • Active cancer (controversial — sirtuin and PARP activation may protect tumor cells)
  • Severe cardiovascular disease (chest pressure during infusion)

Watch symptoms

  • Chest pressure or tightness during/after dose (slow the dose)
  • Nausea, flushing
  • Headache
  • Increased anxiety in some users
  • Injection site soreness — burning is common
