Selective ghrelin receptor agonist (GHSR-1a) and growth hormone secretagogue. Triggers pulsatile GH release without significant impact on cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH — a cleaner profile than older GHRPs.

Best timing

Fasted state preferred — carbohydrates and fat blunt GH pulse. 1–3x daily: AM, post-workout, and/or before bed.

Contraindications

  • Active cancer (any GH-axis activation)
  • Diabetic retinopathy (severe or proliferative)
  • Pregnancy
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

Watch symptoms

  • Water retention, mild edema
  • Tingling or numbness in hands (carpal tunnel)
  • Increased appetite (ghrelin agonism)
  • Lethargy after injection
  • Headache or facial flushing
