Synthetic hexapeptide ghrelin receptor agonist with the strongest GH pulse of the GHRP family. Also acts at CD36 receptors in cardiac tissue — animal data suggest direct cardioprotective effects independent of GH.

Best timing

Fasted, 1–2x daily. Receptor desensitization develops within 2–4 weeks of daily use — cycle 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off.

  • Active cancer
  • Pituitary disease
  • Pregnancy
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Severe insulin resistance

Watch symptoms

  • Cortisol and prolactin elevation (more than GHRP-2)
  • Hunger increase
  • Tachyphylaxis — diminishing GH response over weeks
  • Water retention
  • Mild headache
